MUSHROOM CROSTINIS WITH THYME AND GOAT CHEESE

Ingredients

8 small slices of bread (baguette or other)
7 oz. of fresh mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
1 tablespoon of butter
1 minced garlic clove
1 teaspoon of TERANA Thyme
3.5 oz. of goat cheese
Salt and TERANA Ground Black Pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven or frying pan to brown the bread slices.
2. Melt the butter in a medium-sized frying-pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms.
3. Cook the mushrooms for about 5 minutes until tender, then sprinkle with TERANA Thyme, salt, and TERANA Ground Black Pepper.
4. Toast the bread lightly.
5. Spread each slice with goat cheese and top with the flavored mushrooms.
6. Finish with a sprinkling of chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
