MOZZARELLA GHOSTS

Ingredients

Start your Halloween feast with an appetizer that's as fun to make as it is to eat. With a little creativity and our spices, you'll have everyone asking for more!

- 1 package of mozzarella balls (pearls)
- 1 package of puff pastry (refrigerated or frozen)
- 1 beaten egg (for brushing)
- 1 pinch of TERANA Ground Garlic
- TERANA Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Black sesame seeds (for the eyes)
Directions:
1. If the puff pastry is frozen, let it thaw in the refrigerator. Roll it out on a floured surface and cut it into thin strips about half an inch wide.
2. Drain the mozzarella balls well. Wrap each ball with a strip of puff pastry, leaving a small space at the bottom for the base of the ghost.
3. Place the mozzarella ghosts on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Brush each ghost with the beaten egg and sprinkle a little TERANA Ground Garlic and TERANA Ground Black Pepper on top.
4. Bake at 400°F for 10-15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and crispy.
5. Remove the ghosts from the oven and, while they're still warm, use tongs to place two black sesame seeds inside as eyes. Serve immediately and enjoy your spooky feast!
