BAKED BRIE CHEESE WITH SPICED HONEY AND WALNUTS

Ingredients

🧀🍯 This starter is the perfect combination for a sweet, savory, and fragrant appetizer to share and celebrate Honey Day. Plus, the quality of TERANA's spices  elevates this classic superbly.

 

- 1 wheel of Brie cheese, 7-8.8 oz

- 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts (or pecans, almonds)

- 2-3 tablespoons of good-quality honey

- 1/4 teaspoon of TERANA Paprika (for a warm touch and color)

- 1/4 teaspoon of TERANA Ground Black Pepper (for a subtle contrast)

*Optional: A pinch of TERANA Ground Cinnamon (if you like the sweet and spicy combination with honey)

- Crackers or toasted baguette slices for serving

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. Prepare the Brie: Place the Brie wheel on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in an oven-proof container.

3. Add the toppings: Sprinkle the chopped walnuts on the surface of the Brie. Then, drizzle generously with honey.

4. The TERANA touch: Evenly sprinkle TERANA Paprika, TERANA Ground Black Pepper, and, if using, TERANA Ground Cinnamon over the honey and walnuts.

5. Bake: Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the Brie is soft and creamy on the inside (you'll know it yields when you press it lightly). Be careful not to overcook so the cheese will not ooze out completely.

6. Serve: Carefully remove from the oven. Let it rest for a minute, then transfer to a serving plate.

 

Serve immediately with your crackers or toasted baguette slices. Enjoy this sweet and spicy appetizer, perfect for Honey Day!
