SIMPLE HOMEMADE RAMEN WITH A TERANA TWIST

Ingredients

    🍜 This is an easy base recipe that you can adapt to your taste by adding more vegetables or protein if desired.

    - 2 packages of ramen noodles
    - 4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth (homemade or a good quality broth)
    - 1 tablespoon of soy sauce (or to taste)
    - 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
    - 1/2 teaspoon of TERANA Ground Garlic
    - 1/4 teaspoon of TERANA Ground Ginger (or half a teaspoon if you like a stronger flavor)
    - A pinch of TERANA Ground Black Pepper
    *Optional: 1/4 teaspoon of TERANA Paprika for a touch of color and mild flavor.
    Serving suggestions:
    - Hard-boiled egg (boiled or medium-cooked)
    - Thinly sliced cooked meat (chicken, pork, beef)
    - Sliced shiitake mushrooms (fresh or dried and rehydrated)
    - Chopped green onions
    - Spinach or pak choi leaves
    - Nori seaweed, cut into strips

Directions:

1. Prepare the broth base: In a medium saucepan, heat the chicken or vegetable broth over medium-high heat.
2. Flavor the broth with TERANA: Once the broth is hot (it doesn't need to boil yet), add the soy sauce, sesame oil, TERANA Ground Garlic, TERANA Ground Ginger, and TERANA Ground Black Pepper. If desired, also add TERANA Paprika. Stir well to blend the flavors.
3. Cook the noodles: Bring the broth to a gentle boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually 2 to 3 minutes, until tender but still al dente.
4. Serve: Divide the noodles and hot broth between two large bowls.
5. Add your toppings: Garnish each bowl with your favorite toppings: half a hard-boiled egg, sliced meat, mushrooms, chopped green onions, spinach, and nori seaweed.
