ITALIAN-STYLE HAMBURGER WITH MOZZARELLA AND SUN-DRIED TOMATOES

Ingredients

    - 600g ground beef
    - 150g fresh or smoked mozzarella cheese
    - 100g chopped sun-dried tomatoes
    - 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
    - 1 tablespoon of TERANA Basil
    - 1 teaspoon of TERANA Oregano
    - Salt to taste
    - TERANA Ground Black Pepper to taste
    - 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
    - Hamburger buns

Directions:

1. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with chopped garlic, TERANA Basil, TERANA Oregano, salt, and TERANA Ground Black Pepper. Mix gently without overworking the meat.
2. Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
3. Form 4 equal-sized patties.
4. Cook on a grill or in a hot skillet with olive oil:
5. 3–4 minutes per side (or to desired doneness).
6. In the last minute, place the mozzarella on top so it melts slightly.
7. Assemble on toasted bread and serve hot.
