APPLE PIE

Ingredients
- 🎂🥞🍦🍰🍩🍫 Today we celebrate Dessert Day, and what better way to do it than with an apple pie? Enhance its flavor with a touch of our TERANA Ground Cinnamon and our TERANA Ground Nutmeg, and make this traditional dessert irresistible!
For the pie:
- 1 1/2 cups of wheat flour
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of TERANA Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of TERANA Ground Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced small
For the glaze:
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons of milk
- A pinch of TERANA Ground Cinnamon (optional)
Directions:
1. Prepare the dry ingredients: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, TERANA Ground Cinnamon, TERANA Ground Nutmeg, baking powder, and salt.
2. Prepare the wet ingredients: In another bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla until well combined.
3. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients. Using a spatula, mix gently until the flour is fully incorporated. Do not overmix.
4. Add the diced apples to the batter and stir gently to distribute them evenly.
5. Pour the batter into a previously greased and floured cake pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
6. While the cake cools slightly, in a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar with the milk until you get a smooth, lump-free consistency. For an extra touch of flavor, add a pinch of TERANA Ground Cinnamon.
7. Once the cake is warm, pour the glaze over the top. Serve immediately and enjoy this homemade treat.
